Tracy began her career in body movement and fitness while earning a B.F.A. degree in dance from Western Michigan University.  Following graduation, she danced professionally in New York City where she performed in an Off-Broadway show and toured with Michael Bolton.  Tracy continued her movement training and received her certification in Pilates mat work and equipment from Align Pilates in Minneapolis, MN.  She is also certified through the Pilates Method Alliance®, an international professional organization supporting the work of Joseph Pilates. 

When Tracy was introduced to the Gyrotonic Expansion System®, she enthusiastically embraced its capabilities.  She is certified in Gyrotonic Level 1 and various pieces of specialized equipment.  Tracy attended the Gyrotonic International Convention in Rome, Italy in 2008 where she trained in Gyrotonic Level 2 exercises and therapeutic shoulder applications.  Recently, she took Gyrotonic applications for Golfers with David Rasmussen, PGA tour instructor.  She now has a new appreciation for the golf swing and how it relates to Gyrotonic.  Tracy is living in Washington D.C and enjoys teaching people of all fitness levels fun and invigorating ways to keep moving!
